Nick Mucha

Environmental Programs Manager at Patagonia

Nick Mucha is the current Environmental Programs Manager at Patagonia. Prior to this, they were the Director of Programs at Save The Waves Coalition, where they oversaw a suite of global conservation and community programs utilizing protected areas, economics, and direct-action campaigns to protect iconic coastal environments. Nick has also worked as the Sustainable Transportation Program Specialist at Ecology Action of Santa Cruz, where they designed, implemented, managed and evaluated sustainable transportation programs throughout Santa Cruz County and Monterey Counties aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Nick has also served as the Director of Programs at SACNAS, where they directed a portfolio of programs aimed at increasing minority representation in higher education with special emphasis on science and technology. In addition to their work in environmentalism and sustainability, Nick has also served on the board of directors for Project WOO, and as a Peace Corps Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps.

Nick Mucha has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from UC Santa Barbara, as well as a degree from Foothill High School and Tools for Grassroots Activists.

Nick Mucha works with Hans Cole - Director of Environmental Campaigns and Advocacy, Betsy Blaisdell - Head of Supply Chain Environmental Reponsibility, and Wendy Savage - Director of Social Responsibility & Traceability. Nick Mucha reports to Cara Chacon, VP, Social & Environmental Responsibility.
