Colin Miner

Colin Miner is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various roles across notable media organizations. Currently serving as a National Writer and Manager of News and Content Partnerships at Patch.com since February 2016, Colin successfully developed a program that facilitated content sharing with around 200 news organizations. Prior to this, Colin worked as a stringer for The New York Times, covering critical events such as the armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. Additional experience includes positions as an Assignment Editor at KOIN-TV and KATU-TV, Managing Editor of National News for Scripps, and various editorial roles at The New York Sun. Colin's freelance writing has included significant contributions to The New York Times on topics related to terrorism and the environment. Colin holds a degree from Webster University, earned between 1986 and 1990.
