Michael O'Connell is a seasoned journalist and educator with extensive experience in digital media and podcast production. Currently serving as a Field Editor at Patch.com since December 2019, Michael previously hosted and produced the Better News podcast for the American Press Institute from June 2019 to December 2024. As the Founding Producer and Host of It's All Journalism, a podcast focused on industry challenges, Michael has been at the forefront of digital journalism since August 2012.
