Mart Virkus has a diverse work experience in marketing and management roles. Mart is currently serving as the Head of Marketing at Patchstack since May 2022. Prior to this, Mart worked as a Marketing Consultant, helping companies overcome marketing challenges and develop effective campaigns and processes from January 2020 onwards.
Mart also worked at ContentFly as a Growth Marketing professional from March 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they were associated with Toggl for several years. Mart served as a Marketing Team Lead from January 2017 to January 2020 and as a Content Marketer from November 2014 to January 2017.
Starting their career in 2007, Mart occupied the role of a Distribution Manager at Future Designs, Tallinn, from February 2007 to January 2008. Mart later joined Tallinn Traveller Info, where they worked as a Tour Guide from June 2008 to November 2014. Mart's responsibilities included leading day trips, service development, blogging, social media management, and assisting in the selection and training of new guides.
From 2008 to 2014, Mart Virkus attended Eesti Humanitaarinstituut, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology. In 2010, they also briefly attended Københavns Universitet, although the degree name and field of study for this period are unknown.
