Karla Munive Lima

Karla Munive Lima is a dedicated specialist in international law and a member of the Mexican Foreign Service, with 9 years of experience serving the Mexican community across Texas, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. They have held various roles, including professor at Universidad Metropolitana de Tlaxcala and Consul for Protection at the Consulate General of Mexico in Houston, where they focused on legal advocacy for vulnerable populations, especially women affected by violence. Currently, Karla serves as the Director of Mexican and Latin American Affairs at Patchwork Indy while continuing their advocacy work through their role as Consul for Protection and Legal Affairs at the Consulate of Mexico in Indianapolis. They hold a Master's degree in International Law and Legal Studies, a PhD in Law, and a Bachelor of Laws.
