Michael Owen has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Michael began their career as the Chief Liverpool FC correspondent and football columnist for The Sport Review. Michael then moved on to become a Match Reporter for Goal.com, covering Premier League and European matches. In 2011, they took on the role of Events Assistant for Broken Sound Club. In 2012, they became a Freelance Copywriter for TextMaster and a Featured Soccer Columnist (Freelance) for the International Business Times. That same year, they also began working as Digital Strategy Manager for Spriing Ltd. In 2013, they began working with Matchchat as a Community Manager, helping to expand the fledgling Newcastle based start-up. Michael also worked with Visualsoft Ltd in various roles such as Account Director, Online Marketing Strategist, Account Management Team Leader, Senior Account Manager, and Client Account Manager. In 2022, they began working as Head of Customer Success for Patchworks.
Michael Owen attended Northumbria University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a degree in Travel and Tourism Management.
