Pedram Sameni

Founder and CEO at Patexia

Pedram Sameni has worked for four companies over the past 15 years. In 2010, they founded Patexia, a platform for IP attorneys, and served as the Founder and CEO. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at International Rectifier, where they held various roles including Manager, Intellectual Property and Licensing, Corporate Development and Intellectual Property Engineer, Rotation Engineer (Intellectual Property), and Rotation Engineer (Application Engineer). From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Characterization/Design Engineer at Foveon Inc. Lastly, from 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Mixed Signal Design Engineer at PMC-Sierra.

Pedram Sameni began their education in 1995, earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran. Pedram then went on to pursue a M.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Simon Fraser University between 2000 and 2002. In 2003, they began their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering at The University of British Columbia, which they completed in 2007. Pedram also recently attended UCLA Anderson School of Management, though they did not receive a degree.
