Abhishek Kumar

Abhishek Kumar is an experienced professional specializing in nutrition and program management, currently serving as Regional Program Manager for Food Fortification at PATH since January 2022, overseeing the Rice Fortification Program in India and Sri Lanka. Prior to this role, Abhishek held significant positions including State Lead for Nutrition at PATH, Senior State Consultant for the WeCan Project at IPE Global Limited, and Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant at the Asian Development Research Institute, working on initiatives supported by UNICEF and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Abhishek’s background includes various roles within UNICEF India, where contributions were made to the Nutritional Rehabilitation Center and the Integrated Child Development Services in Bihar, as well as experiences with KPMG India and CARE India focusing on health and skill development projects. Abhishek holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from Sikkim Manipal University and a Master’s degree in Rural Development from Nalanda Open University.
