Achintya Srivatsa is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in providing technical assistance and leadership in various health programs. Currently serving as a Senior Programme Officer at PATH since August 2019, Achintya leads a project focused on the elimination of dengue, chikungunya, and malaria, collaborating with governments at multiple levels. Prior roles include National Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Directorate of National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, where Achintya enhanced surveillance and monitoring strategies for Kala azar and Lymphatic Filariasis, and a decade-long consultancy with the World Health Organization, addressing polio elimination and outbreak management. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, along with postgraduate diplomas in Public Health Nutrition and Epidemiology from the Public Health Foundation of India.
