Dereje Dillu is a Senior Technical Advisor at the Ministry of Health in Ethiopia, currently seconded by PATH/MACEPA. With over 15 years of experience in malaria control and elimination programs, Dereje has demonstrated expertise in health program management, epidemiology, and strategic planning. Previously, Dereje served as the Malaria Prevention and Control Focal Person and Afar Case Team Leader, where responsibilities included data analysis, outbreak investigations, and the development of national guidelines. Dereje also coordinates national malaria elimination activities and focuses on capacity building, evidence-based practices, and community engagement to achieve malaria elimination goals. Currently, Dereje is pursuing a Master's in Public Health at Addis Ababa University.
