Dr. Prashant Mishra is a public health consultant with extensive experience in tuberculosis (TB) control and surveillance within India's National TB Elimination Program (NTEP). Currently, Dr. Mishra is working with PATH on the Expand Elevate (E2) project, enhancing TB data quality and capacity-building activities across 11 states. Prior roles include consulting for SHARE INDIA on the NISCHIT Plus TB project in Northeastern India and serving as a Project Scientist B at the ICMR - National Institute for Research in Tribal Health, focusing on TB control for the Saharia community. Dr. Mishra also held the position of Junior Research Fellow at Tropical Forest Research Institute, evaluating antioxidant activities of medicinal plants. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, along with MPhil and Master’s degrees in the same field from the same institution.
