Elvis Oyugi is a seasoned Medical Epidemiologist and malaria expert currently serving as the Senior Malaria Technical Advisor for the PMI REACH Malaria program at PATH. They have previously held roles as the Technical Lead for Surveillance, Monitoring & Evaluation, and Operations Research at the National Malaria Control Programme, as well as the Head of the HIV Prevention Programme at the Division of National AIDS and STI Control Program in Kenya. Elvis gained valuable experience early in their career as a Medical Officer Intern and District Medical Officer of Health within the Ministry of Health, Kenya. Their educational background includes a Master of Science in Applied Epidemiology from Jomo Kenyatta University and a Field Epidemiology Fellowship. In 2023, Elvis was recognized as an alum of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
