Emily Locke

Emily Locke is an experienced professional in global health and vaccine development, currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at PATH since 2008. Prior to this role, Emily worked with the PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative as a Program Officer from 2006 to 2008 and held the position of Technical Coordinator at PATH from 2005 to 2006. Emily's early career included managing the International HIV Vaccine Project at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 2002 to 2004, where responsibilities included advising on clinical trial preparedness and liaising between the Biomedical Center and Western scientists. Emily holds a Master of Public Health in International Health with a focus on Vaccine Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a PhD in biology from the same institution, along with a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College.
