Jens Demand

Jens Demand is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical field, currently serving as the Director of Product Life Cycle at PATH since February 2020. Prior to this role, Jens held various leadership positions at Novartis from April 2007 to February 2020, including Head of Global Product in Novartis Technical Operations, where responsibilities encompassed global manufacturing strategy, external manufacturer selection, and launch management. Jens also served as Head of Global Technical Project Management, overseeing technical development programs and resource management, and as Global Program Leader for biosimilar development programs. Previous experience includes a role as a Regulatory Consultant at PAREXEL and as a Scientist at MediGene AG. Jens holds a PhD in Biology and a Diploma in Chemistry from Heidelberg University, with additional educational experience at the MPI Biochemie Martinsried.
