Michael Muema is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience across various organizations in East Africa. Currently serving as the Regional Human Resources Business Partner at PATH since July 2022, Michael has previously held significant roles such as Human Resources Business Partner for Kenya and South Sudan at Liquid Intelligent Technologies, where critical talent onboarding and compliance initiatives were successfully led. With a background that includes managerial positions at BCD Travel, Wananchi Group, and Chase Bank Kenya Ltd, Michael has a proven track record in strategic talent management, employee engagement, and performance culture development. Additionally, substantial contributions were made at Safaricom PLC, focusing on Learning and Development, where budget management and training initiatives resulted in significant cost savings. Michael holds a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Education in Economics and International Relations.
