Silumbe Kafula

Silumbe Kafula is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the MACEPA Zambia Team Lead and Senior Program Manager at PATH since August 2009, where responsibilities include managing a one million dollar program focused on national malaria mass drug administration in Zambia. Previous roles at PATH include Senior Program Officer and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, emphasizing collaboration with the Ministry of Health and supporting malaria control initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, where program assistance was provided to cancer programs, and as the NetMark Country Coordinator for the Academy for Educational Development, overseeing a USAID-funded malaria control project in Zambia. Silumbe holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Zambia.
