Thomas Wierzba

Thomas Wierzba is a Professor at Wake Forest School of Medicine, where they focus on advancing medical education and research. They have held various leadership roles, including Director at the US Naval Medical Research Unit No. 3 in Cambodia and at the RDRS Health Program in Bangladesh. Previously, they served as Chief of the Biostatistics Section at The Henry M. Jackson Foundation and were Head of the Enteric Diseases Research Program while in Cairo, Egypt. They are currently pursuing advanced degrees, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University.
