Walter Simiyu

Walter Simiyu is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial control, reporting, and treasury management. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at PATH since May 2020, Walter previously held the role of Accountant in Financial Control and Reporting at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) from September 2015 to April 2020, where responsibilities included cost allocation and petty cash management. Walter's earlier experience includes positions as an Assistant Accountant in Treasury and Payables, focusing on travel authorization and expense processing, as well as internships at Sheria Sacco and Ukulima Sacco, where foundational accounting skills were developed. Walter holds a CPA in Accounting and Finance from KCA University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Moi University.
