Webby Emmanuel Phiri

Webby Emmanuel Phiri serves as the Deputy Chief of Party at PATH, overseeing the PAMO Plus project, which has a budget of $36.4 million, and previously held the position of Technical Director for the US President's Malaria Initiative. Phiri is also a member of the Malaria Vaccine Working Group under the Zambia Immunization Technical Advisory Group, reviewing approved malaria vaccines. Past roles include District Health Director at Chikankata District Health Office, leading health management initiatives, and Honorary Researcher at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. Phiri has held various key positions within the healthcare sector, such as National Planner for the Resident Doctors Association of Zambia and Medical Officer in Charge at Kafue Gorge Hospital. Academic achievements include an MSc in Paediatrics and Child Health from UCL, an MBA in Healthcare Management, an MBChB in Medicine and Surgery, and a BSc in Human Biology from the University of Zambia, complemented by a certificate in Public Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
