Matthew Burns

Matthew Burns has been working in the software engineering industry since 1994. Matthew began their career at The Ohio State University as a Software Engineer, where they completed an 18-month project from Design to Maintenance of an image-enabled gift processing system. In 2000, they moved to TruSecure (formerly Vigilinx, formerly LogiKeep) as a Software Engineer, where they were involved with two upgrade releases to client application and migrated a core corporate information publishing system from a 32-bit thick client application to web based application. In 2002, they joined Battelle as a Senior Software Engineer and held this role until 2011. During this time, they supported the project System Engineer with Requirement gathering, developed software systems architecture and design, organized and led a team of software engineers, and trained junior software engineers on proper software development principles. In 2021, they joined Path Robotics as a Senior Software Engineer and is currently serving as the software tech lead for a business sensitive project.

Matthew Burns attended The Ohio State University from 1991 to 1996, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
