Matthew Klein has a long history of working in robotics engineering. Matthew began their career in 2006 as a Drafter for Adams, Rehmann & Heggan Associates, Inc. In 2008, they began their graduate studies at Case Western Reserve University. In 2009, they took on an internship as a Robotics Engineer at NIST, where they worked to develop standard testing procedures for urban search and rescue robots and helped to develop a testing method for the Army Research Laboratory's pedestrian detection program. In 2017, Matthew Co-Founded Path Robotics, Inc (We're Hiring!), and in 2019 they were appointed as the Robotics Engineering Manager.
Matthew Klein attended Miami University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics, Mathematics and Statistics, as well as a Bachelor of Science - BS in Physics and Mathematics. Matthew then continued their studies at Case Western Reserve University from 2008 to 2021, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics.
