Path to Freedom Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of reoffending and protecting future victims by addressing the root causes of incarceration—mental health, trauma, and fractured communication.
We design and distribute trauma-informed, game-based toolkits that help incarcerated individuals and returning citizens build emotional intelligence, practice accountability, and strengthen relationships. Our flagship tools—Connection Compass and Milestones—use structured gameplay to teach calm conflict resolution, critical thinking, and real-world reentry skills inside correctional facilities and beyond.
Led by a team of advocates, clinical experts, and leaders with lived experience, Path to Freedom bridges the gap between punishment and prevention. We partner with correctional facilities, researchers, and reform-driven organizations to ensure every toolkit is evidence-based, scalable, and rooted in dignity.
