Eric Walk, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer at PathAI. Prior to joining PathAI, they were Chief Medical & Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Medical & Scientific Affairs at Roche Tissue Diagnostics, where they oversaw all aspects of product development, scientific affairs, and commercialization for the company’s portfolio of tissue-based diagnostic products. Eric also served as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Medical & Scientific Affairs at Ventana Medical Systems, Inc., where they were responsible for all aspects of the company’s medical and scientific affairs worldwide. Dr. Walk began their industry career as a clinical project leader at Novartis Oncology, where they oversaw early clinical development for the company’s investigational oncology products. Prior to their industry career, Dr. Walk was an Attending Pathologist at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and a Fellow in Gynecologic Pathology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Eric completed their residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Mount Sinai Health System and Northwell Health. Dr. Walk received their medical degree from New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Eric Walk received their Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia. Eric also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Science Area from The Johns Hopkins University. Eric is certified by The American Board of Pathology and The Phi Beta Kappa Society.

They are on a team with Don O'Neill - VP, Engineering, Deirdre De Steno - VP, BioPharma Partnerships, and Jim Sweeney - Diagnostics President. Erick Lin - Senior Director, Medical Affairs, Jon Glickman - VP and Head of Translational Pathology, and Cristin Taylor - Director, Clinical Science report to Eric Walk.
