Vicki Mountain has over two decades of experience in scientific communications, project management, and program development. Vicki is currently the Scientific Communications Manager at PathAI, a position they have held since June 2020.

Previously, Vicki was the Assistant Director of the Center for Microbiome Informatics and Therapeutics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In this role, they oversaw day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning for a multi-faceted translational microbiome research program. The program had a multi-million budget that Vicki was responsible for managing.

Before their time at MIT, Vicki was a Medical Writer II/DynaMed at EBSCO Information Services and a Senior Editor/Cell Press at Elsevier. Vicki also spent several years as an independent project manager and scientific communications consultant.

Throughout their career, Vicki has demonstrated their ability to successfully manage large programs and budgets, develop long-term strategic plans, and communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences. Her experience and skills have made their an invaluable asset to their various teams and organizations.

Dr. Vicki Mountain is a biochemist who earned their Ph.D. from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Vicki also holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow.

Vicki Mountain reports to Mike Montalto, Chief Scientific Officer. Vicki Mountain works with Amaro Taylor-Weiner - Director of Biomedical Data Science, Laura Chambre - Scientific Program Manager, and Brian Bissell - Clinical Operations Lead.
