PathForward, formerly known as A-SPAN, is dedicated to helping our neighbors live stable, secure, and independent lives free from the threat of homelessness.

We transform lives by delivering housing solutions and pathways to stability in Arlington County, VA.  

We provide physical shelter, three daily meals, showers, and laundry facilities to those in need, while also providing access to counselors, medical services, job training, and supportive employment services.

They provide oversight for residents, including monitoring the shelter environment, assisting with intake procedures, and addressing any issues that arise. The team also coordinates access to essential services such as meals, showers, and laundry facilities, and supports residents in connecting with counselors, medical services, job training, and employment resources.
