Christopher Coldren is a seasoned expert in the field of bioinformatics and clinical genomics, currently serving as Senior Scientific Director and Director of Bioinformatics at PathGroup since 2013. Prior roles include Faculty Bioinformatician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where Christopher established the "Genomic Design Studio" and directed the operations of the Vanderbilt Genome Sciences Resource. With prior experience as an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, Christopher has contributed significantly to research with 29 peer-reviewed publications and over $15 million in research support. Earlier work includes developing microarray technology at MIT and discovering key biosynthetic genes at DuPont. Christopher holds a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from Yale University and a BA in Chemistry from the New College of Florida.
