Gururaj Deshpande began their career in 1999 as a Software Trainee Engineer at HCL Infosystems Ltd, where they were responsible for Oracle forms and database development for the Coal Mines Provident Fund project. In 2000, they moved to CAE (formerly Macmet Technologies, Ltd.) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for simulation software development, implementation, and onsite client coordinator at Indian NAVY. In 2003, they joined Able Laboratories, Inc. as a Programmer Analyst, where they worked on web applications development and played a significant role in the company's ERP implementation with Oracle EBusiness Suite. In 2005, they joined Pathlock and held various roles, including Senior Vice President Product Management, CTO & VP, Engineering, Vice President, Engineering & Technology, Chief Architect, SAP Integrations & Products, and Systems Analyst, Product Development.
Gururaj Deshpande received a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Karnataka University, Dharwad in 1999, having started their studies in 1995.
