Mohit Mathur

Mohit Mathur MD, Ph.D. is the Chief Medical Officer of Pathnostics. He has extensive experience with driving reimbursement from Medicare and private payers, and in leading technical discussions on advanced diagnostic testing with providers and clients. He previously served as Vice President of Medical Affairs at BioReference Laboratories where he focused on the 4Kscore Test, and aid in the early detection of aggressive prostate cancer, which saw remarkable growth in product utilization and gained positive LCD coverage during his tenure. In the COVID-19 pandemic, he led efforts to bring Point of Care testing to patients around the US, setting up testing facilities with partners ranging from local and state governments to major sports leagues. He oversaw discussions with major partners on the unique laboratory capabilities and innovations provided by BioReference for both lab and field-based testing and assisted Marketing and Sales with converting clinical details into relevant collateral and messaging. Dr. Mathur previously worked for OPKO Health as a research scientist and was NIH-funded during his postdoctoral fellowship researching hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathies at Brody School of Medicine. He received his Ph.D. from East Carolina University, NC, and his MD from Kasturba Medical College, India.
