Ihab Botros

Ihab Botros is a Senior R&D Scientist with over 20 years of experience in molecular biology, data analysis, and laboratory management. They began their career as a Scientific Fellow at Systems Integration Drug Discovery Company (SIDDCO) before serving as a Principal Scientist at HTG Molecular Diagnostics, where they co-developed the HTG’s EdgeSeq molecular diagnostic assay. Currently, Ihab is advancing their expertise at PathogenDx while pursuing a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at San Diego State University. They hold a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from UCLA.
