PathoGene
James Heilman is an advisor at PathoGene and a previous president of Wikimedia Canada. James has also worked with Wikipedia and the Wiki Project Med Foundation. Dr. Heilman obtained their MD from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003 and has been working in the field of online medical content since 2006. In 2010, they were one of the co-founders of WikiProject Med, which aims to improve medical content on Wikipedia. In their free time, Dr. Heilman enjoys mountain biking and skiing.
James Heilman completed a residency at The University of British Columbia and an MD in Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. James also attended Cochin School.
