Thatcher Risom

Thatcher Risom has over 16 years of work experience. In 2004, they began their career as a Technology Intern at Electric Boat Corporation. In 2005, they were a Development Intern and QA Intern at Turbine for the Dungeons and Dragons Online and Lord of the Rings Online projects respectively. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at JobTarget as a OneClick Development Manager, Senior Developer / Lead Developer, and Developer. Their roles included researching and selecting third party website spidering technology, designing and building an in-house custom spider solution, and designing and maintaining an in-house system for managing integrations with third party job board vendors. From 2014 to 2020, they were a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Team Lead at HireVue, where they were responsible for critical projects and teams across a variety of business critical functionality. Thatcher was also a senior member of the platform "functional" team and was involved in the "roles and permissions" rewrite project. In 2020, they became the VP Engineering at PathologyWatch.

Thatcher Risom attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2006 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
