Matthew De Silva has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Pathos since August 2021. In addition, they are a Venture Partner at Builders VC, a San Francisco-based early stage fund focused on investing in technology-driven business models in healthcare and life sciences.

Matthew is also involved with Longtail Health Ventures as a Syndicate Lead and Angel Investor since March 2021. This firm invests across all stages of development, particularly in companies that leverage the intersection of biology and technology.

Previously, Matthew was the Founder & Executive Chairman of Notable Labs from February 2020 to the present, and the Founder and CEO from May 2014 to February 2020. Notable Labs focuses on utilizing technology and data to improve treatments for patients.

Before their involvement in the healthcare and technology sectors, Matthew worked as a Portfolio Manager at Clarium Capital Management from April 2012 to May 2014. Matthew also gained valuable experience as an Analyst at Merrill Lynch Inc from August 2011 to April 2012, and as an Intern at Moore Capital Management from June 2010 to September 2010.

Matthew De Silva attended Purdue University Daniels School of Business from 2006 to 2009, where they studied Operations Management. Matthew later transferred to Cornell University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics & Management between 2009 and 2011.
