Ivan Wong

Ivan Wong's work experience begins in 2013 as a Tutor at InstaEDU. In 2014, they served as a Tech Ops Intern at Bloomberg, where they participated in a project to pitch new recruitment ideas and presented in front of executives. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at The Home Depot, focusing on reliability, efficiency, and maintainability of full stack applications. At Survata, where they worked from 2019 to 2020 as an Infrastructure Engineer, Ivan was responsible for handling a high volume of endpoint traffic and achieved significant cost reductions by migrating code to AWS EKS. Currently, Ivan holds the position of Software Engineer II at Pathpoint, starting in 2021.

Ivan Wong pursued their education at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2013 to 2017, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Machine Learning, which they completed between 2018 and 2022.
