Jarell Alvarez

Jarell Alvarez is a Design Professor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where instruction focuses on MVP development, interaction design, usability, and iterative workflows. Additionally, Jarell serves as a mentor at Pathrise, guiding design professionals to enhance their skills in UX/UI and product development, achieving high ratings for effective mentorship. As a professional photographer, Jarell specializes in capturing portraits and event coverage. Jarell is also the founder of the Vancouver Design Community, fostering connections among over 3,000 designers.
