Finding the best place for your child to learn, taking into consideration your child’s abilities and ambitions, and your family circumstances. This can be difficult
•	from a distance
•	when English is not your first language and you do not understand all the jargon in the English education system
•	when the timing of your move is in the middle of an academic year
•	when your child has a learning need.

This can all take so much time and needs knowledge of children’s education, which you might not have.
We have the knowledge, time and expertise that you need. Paths to Learning is an education consultancy.
•	International and expatriate parents come to us to find a boarding school that will suit their ambitions and their child’s abilities.
•	Parents relocating to the UK come for guidance on the best independent day and boarding schools or state-funded schools, near their place of work.
We also have parents whose child is not in school, as the child may have a learning need. They come to us for guidance on Special Schools or specialist tutoring. Children may also have ‘interrupted education’ whether through illness or accident or moving at a time of year when the chosen school cannot take their child. We provide guidance on interim provision – whether that is through tutoring, home-schooling, revision courses or summer residential courses.
Our expertise lies in our deep and thorough knowledge of the outstanding English schools and colleges in the whole of the UK. Our skill lies in matching children to the best schools. We guide parents and their children from initial enquiries through the admissions process and settling into the school. We also guide through the maze of legal requirements such as obtaining a visa and guardianship and ensure everyone is well prepared through a programme of cultural orientation, subject and language proficiency.
