Anand Iyer

Anand Iyer has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Anand is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Architecture, Engineering & Information Management at Pathward since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Enterprise Architecture & Information Management at the same company from September 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Pathward, Anand worked at Choice Hotels International as the Principal Enterprise Architect from May 2019 to September 2020. Anand was responsible for creating strategic partnerships with business and technology leaders in various domains and driving corporate value delivery through joint strategy and roadmap creation.

Anand also has experience at PetSmart, where they served as the Director of IT Strategy, Architecture & Innovation from November 2017 to January 2019. Anand played a key role in transforming IT from a reactive-execution service provider to a proactive strategic partner.

Prior to PetSmart, Anand worked at GlobalTranz as the Sr. Director of Business Systems from February 2016 to January 2017, overseeing data analytics, reporting, product management, and ERP functions.

Anand's earlier experiences include working as a Consultant at Systems Evolution, Inc., providing business and technology consulting services to a fortune 500 Utility company. Anand was also the Director of Business Process Automation and Information Technology at BASELAYER from November 2014 to May 2015.

Before that, Anand held multiple roles such as Director of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering at IO, CEO and Founder of 1Energy Inc., and Founder and CTO of EZappt, LLC. Anand also founded Tisya Impex Pvt. Ltd., where they served as the Founder and Chairman and was involved in the manufacture and marketing of uPVC/Vinyl windows, doors, skylights, and window fashion products.

Anand Iyer has a diverse education history. In 1978, they completed their secondary education at Fatima High School, earning their SSC degree. Ten years later, from 1990 to 1994, they attended the Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, where they earned their B.E. degree in Production Engineering. Continuing their education, Anand pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, completing it from 1996 to 1998. Anand's most recent educational accomplishment was in 2019, when they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned an Executive Certificate in Artificial Intelligence. In the same year, they also obtained a certification titled "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
