Alex De Muelenaere

Alex De Muelenaere has a diverse work experience, primarily in finance and accounting. They currently serve as the Chief Financial Officer at Pathzero, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Alex held several positions at Deloitte, starting as a Trainee Accountant in 2012 and progressing to Audit Senior, Audit Manager, and ultimately Audit Director | Talent Director. During their time at Deloitte, Alex demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, managing audit teams, overseeing clients' financial models, and developing strategic initiatives. They were consistently recognized for their coaching abilities, client service, team management, and technical expertise. Alex also played a crucial role in growing the portfolio of clients and maintaining high employee retention and engagement scores.

Alex De Muelenaere received a High School Diploma from Crawford International in 2006. Alex then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting Sciences at the University of Pretoria from 2007 to 2009. In 2010-2011, Alex earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with Honors in Accounting Sciences from the same institution. Alex is currently enrolled in the Program on Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard Law School Executive Education, with an expected completion in 2023. Additionally, Alex obtained a certification in the Program on Negotiation from Harvard Law School Executive Education.
