Dave Govert has over 18 years of work experience in talent acquisition and HR operations. Dave is currently serving as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition & HR Operations at PatientPoint® since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Exelon from 2017 to 2021, where they held various roles including Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition - Sourcing, Employer Branding/Recruitment Marketing, and Operations, and Talent Acquisition Manager COE - Operations, Programs, Technology, & Projects. At Exelon, Dave was responsible for overseeing recruitment processes, technology, reporting, and day-to-day operations. Dave also played a key role in the development of enterprise-wide talent acquisition metrics and reporting, as well as leading initiatives such as new career site and CRM vendor implementations.

Dave managed a team of 11 direct reports and oversaw the full recruitment lifecycle for a workforce of over 2,200 employees. Prior to that, they held roles as a Team Lead & Senior Recruiter and a Talent Acquisition Recruiter within the CDW Talent Acquisition team.

Dave's earlier experience includes working at Holiday Retirement as a Divisional Recruiter - Midwest from 2009 to 2010, and at The Novo Group as a Recruitment Manager/Consultant from 2007 to 2009. At The Novo Group, they handled project management responsibilities, worked on executive and director level searches, and provided recruitment services to clients in the PBM and healthcare industries.

Dave's career began at Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, where they held various roles such as Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Front Office Manager, and Night Audit Supervisor from 2003 to 2007.

Overall, Dave has a strong background in talent acquisition, HR operations, and project management, with extensive experience in leading recruitment teams and implementing recruitment technologies.

Dave Govert attended Lincoln-Way High School from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in General Studies. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1999 to 2003. During their time at the university, Dave obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
