David Lee

David Lee has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. David currently works as a Lead Engineer at PatientPoint®, where they started in March 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Lead Engineer, Platform at Outcome Health from October 2018 onwards.

In 2002, David co-founded Nexstra, Inc. and served as its CTO and architectural advisor. David developed flagship products, nCommerce and nConnect, and continues to provide architectural vision and direction for current and future products and services.

From 2012 to 2017, David worked as a Lead Engineer at MarkLogic, where they served as a Cloud Evangelist and was responsible for various roles such as optimizing low-level C++ code and architecting large-scale database clusters.

Before that, David was a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Epocrates, Inc from 2003 to 2011.

David also has experience as an owner, CEO, and President of DEI Services Inc. from 1995 to 2011.

During their career, David has worked as a consultant for various companies including E.piphany, Inc, WebGain Corporation, RightPoint Corp, and Centura Software Corp. David'sroles in these positions involved tasks such as Object-Oriented Design and Implementation, performance analysis and enhancements on multiprocessor systems, and designing and implementing OLE/COM features.

Overall, David Lee has a vast range of experience in engineering, architecture, and leadership roles in the software industry.

David Lee attended Caltech from 1981 to 1986 as a student, studying engineering and applied science.
