Modou Ceesay

Modou Ceesay, MBA, CPA has a diverse range of work experience. Modou has held various positions at different companies throughout their career.

Starting in 2005, Modou worked as an Audit Staff at Plante & Moran, PLLC for two years. From 2007 to 2015, they joined General Motors and held several senior accountant roles, including Senior Accountant - Corporate Accounting - Close & Consolidation.

In 2015, Modou moved to Visteon Corporation, where they served as the SEC Reporting Manager until 2018. From 2018 to 2023, they worked at Veoneer, taking on multiple roles such as Corporate Compliance Manager (SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting), Managing Director of Veoneer Brake Systems, and Sr. Director, Corporate Control, North America/Asia & US GAAP.

Additionally, Modou served as an Accounting adjunct professor at Walsh College from 2009 to 2022.

Most recently, Modou joined Patrick Industries, Inc. in 2023 as the Vice President Corporate Finance.

Modou Ceesay, MBA, CPA has a strong educational background in business and finance. Modou earned a Certificate of Management Excellence from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2022. Modou obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on finance from Walsh College in 2009. Prior to that, in 2004, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, majoring in accounting, also from Walsh College. Modou Ceesay has further enhanced their credentials with additional certifications. Modou completed the High Potentials Leadership Program from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2021. Modou is also a Certified Public Accountant, obtained from the State of Michigan in July 2007.
