Stephen Templar is a seasoned operations professional with extensive experience in terminal and vessel management across various significant roles. Currently serving as Shift Manager at Patrick Terminals since May 2019, Stephen has played a vital role in optimizing resource utilization and workforce productivity at Australia's largest container terminal. Prior to this, Stephen worked as Superintendent Ports at Newcrest Mining, achieving notable logistical improvements and safety milestones, including zero lost time injuries and halving cargo damage rates. With earlier roles at DP World Australia and P&O Automotive & General Stevedoring, Stephen consistently demonstrated expertise in planning, stakeholder management, and training, earning accolades such as the 2nd Place in the P&O Global Risk Management Awards. Stephen holds multiple diplomas in Frontline Management and Operational Management, as well as a diploma from the University of Oxford.
