Karin Hermansson

Karin Hermansson is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in fisheries management and policy. Since February 2018, Karin has served as CEO of Patrix IP Helpware. Prior to this role, Karin held various positions including Head of Unit at the European Fisheries Control Agency from February 2014 to February 2018, and Head of Fisheries Policy Unit and Head of Fisheries Control Unit at the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management from July 2011 to January 2014. Additionally, Karin was Head of Unit for Administrative Control at the Swedish Board of Fisheries from 2007 to August 2011 and led the Project Division at Patrix AB from January 1999 to August 2007. Educationally, Karin holds a degree in law with a specialization in EU law from the University of Gothenburg, earned between 1994 and 1999.
