Ling Chan started their work experience in 2004 as a Senior Analyst at McLagan. Ling then worked as a Tax Consultant at Deloitte & Touche from 2006 to 2007. After that, they joined 3i Group plc as a Manager, focusing on Reward, Carried-Interest, and Co-invest. Ling worked there from 2007 to 2009. Ling then moved to HSBC, where they held the position of Reward Manager for Global Asset Management & Principal Investments from 2009 to 2011. Following that, they worked at J.P. Morgan, starting as a Compensation Manager for Corporate & Investment Bank from 2011 to 2015. Ling then became the Head of EMEA Executive Compensation from 2015 to 2018, and finally the Head of AWM Functions & EMEA Compensation from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are the Head of Rewards at PATRIZIA AG, a position they have held since 2019.
Ling Chan completed their A-levels and HKCEE at Queen's College, Hong Kong from 1992 to 1999. Ling then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics at Lancaster University from 1999 to 2002. Following that, Ling attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics & Finance.
