Kalea Kim

Kalea Kim is a Laboratory Technician currently working at Pattern Bioscience, focusing on the product development of a microbiology diagnostic device and managing experimental protocols for clinical trial readiness. Previously employed as a Laboratory Technician at Surgenex, Kalea ensured compliance with FDA regulations while performing human tissue processing. In a senior role at Baylor University, Kalea led undergraduate research projects and collaborated with research mentors, while also contributing as an undergraduate researcher in the Romero Lab on chemical synthesis and drug discovery. Additional experiences include serving as President of March for Science at Baylor, facilitating biology labs as a Lab Learning Assistant, and working as a Swim Instructor at Hubbard Family Swim School. Kalea holds a B.S. in Science Research Fellows, with a focus on Chemistry and Biology from Baylor University.
