Natalie Pace

Director of Assay Development at Pattern Bioscience

Natalie Pace is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in assay research and quantum information applications. Currently serving as Director of Assay Research at Pattern Bioscience since November 2021, Natalie has progressed through various roles at the company, including Senior Scientist I and Scientist II. Prior to this, Natalie held a Director's Postdoctoral Fellow position at Los Alamos National Laboratory and contributed as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Los Alamos and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, focusing on singlet fission systems. Natalie's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Grinnell College. Additionally, Natalie served as Managing Director and Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Alt-E Fund, advocating for innovative funding in clean energy research. Early research experience includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Oregon.
