Sol Stonebloom

Sol Stonebloom is a Senior Scientist at Pattern Biosciences, currently focusing on advanced research in the field. They previously held the position of Director of Research and Development at Slingshot Biosciences and served as Scientist II and III at Zymergen, Inc. Sol completed a PhD in Plant Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, where they investigated intercellular transport in plants. Prior to that, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen, they conducted RNA-seq analysis to explore plant cell wall biosynthesis. Their research experience also includes work at the Joint BioEnergy Institute, enhancing the rubber content of Guayule through synthetic biology.
