Founding Chair & CEO at Pattern Computer

Mark Anderson's work experience spans several industries and includes various leadership roles. In 1989, they founded and chaired Strategic News Service, a technology newsletter with notable readers such as Elon Musk and Bill Gates. In 1996, they became the Chairman of Orca Relief Citizens Alliance. In 2003, they founded and chaired Future in Review, a highly regarded technology conference. In 2010, they joined the board of advisors for Calit2 - UC Irvine Division and Qualcomm Institute - UCSD Division of Calit2. In 2011, they founded and chaired INVNT/IP and SNS Carbon Trifecta. In 2015, they became the Founding Chair and CEO of Pattern Computer, a global leader in pattern discoveries. In 2017, they became a member of the Board of Advisors for DIRAC Institute at the University of Washington.

Mark Anderson completed their undergraduate and master's degrees in marine biology and biochemistry at Stanford University from 1969 to 1973. Additionally, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemical Ecology at The University of British Columbia from 1972 to 1974, but did not complete the degree.
