Editor-in-Chief at Pattern Computer

Sally Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Sally currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief at Pattern Computer since September 2021. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at Orca Relief Citizens' Alliance starting in October 2018. In 2017, Sally worked as the Managing Director at FiReFilms.org. Sally also held the position of Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief at SNS FiReFilms from 2009 onwards.

Sally has extensive experience in the field of journalism and publishing. From 2002, they served as the Editor-in-Chief and Production Manager at Strategic News Service & Future in Review (FiRe) events. In this role, they focused on technology and economy forecasting for the future and oversaw the production of the annual FiRe event. Sally was also the Lead Editor at Poets Against the War from 2002 to 2004.

Earlier in their career, Sally worked as a Senior Editor at Amazon.com from 1998 to 2000. Sally also held the position of Senior Editor/Associate Producer at Corbis Productions from 1997 to 1999. In 1995, they worked as a Copy Editor, later transitioning to the role of Project Editor at Microsoft Press.

Sally Anderson began their career as a Sole Proprietor at Red Pen Productions in 1992.

Sally Anderson's education history includes attending UMass Boston from 1976 to 1977, where they studied Literature, Classics-Greek and Roman Civilization. Sally then moved on to Harvard University from 1977 to 1978, focusing on Psychology and Fiction Writing. Later, in 1981 to 1982, Sally attended The Evergreen State College, where they pursued a Double BA degree in Comparative Literature and Fine Art.
