Dwayne Williams

Principal Engineer at Pattern Health

Dwayne Williams has over twenty years of experience in software engineering and development. In 1997, they began their career at Nortel as a Principal Engineer in the enterprise network management group. During their time there, they also served as a Senior Software Engineer in the NCS and NetID groups. In 2007, they joined Motricity as a Senior Software Engineer II, where they designed and developed an internal ETL tool. In 2008, they became the Mobile Technology Expert and CTO of Convertem, Inc. where they introduced the Convertem Mobile Platform. In 2011, they joined Wireless Generation (now renamed Amplify) as an Engineering Manager and Scrum Master. In 2012, they were promoted to Engineering Director and Delivery Leader, where they led 5 Agile delivery teams. In 2015, they co-founded BrainBerry Labs as the CTO and led all technical and design activities. Dwayne also served as a Director of Engineering, Mobile (contract) at Weight Watchers in 2015. In 2016, they joined CA Technologies as a Software Engineering Manager and was nominated for a CA Barrier Breaker award in 2017. In 2018, they served as an Engineering Liaison (contract) at MANN+HUMMEL Group. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at Pattern Health.

Dwayne Williams attended Carleton University from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a BCS with Highest Honors in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
