John Dickinson's work experience begins in 2007 as a Technician at EDGE Audio Productions. In 2009, they worked as a DAD Deployment Technician at Peak Systems for a brief period. In 2011, they took on a leadership role as the Lighting Crew Chief at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Student Union UPAC Lights. From 2012 to 2019, John worked at Philips as an Ultrasound R&D Software Engineer, where they played a lead developer and project engineer role for the Lumify 1.8 ultrasound software release. John also provided leadership and mentoring on the Lumify software platform and successfully demonstrated the feasibility of GPU accelerated ultrasound processing on Android. In 2019, John joined Amazon as a Simulation Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Pattern Labs as a Software Engineer starting from January 2023.

John Dickinson attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Systems Engineering & Computer Science.
